Food Bank

Cramlington Foodbank, known as the Hope Centre, is situated behind Concordia in the building adjoining Forum Family Practice. It is under the umbrella of the Trussell Trust and is currently managed by Joyce Docherty and the management team, supported by a team of volunteers. Its opening hours are 9:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday. For those needing to access its services referrals can be made through Citizen Advice, Jobcentre, Social Services, the County Council Community Hub and our priests. Donations of goods can be made directly to the Foodbank itself or to the box in church. Stocks of staple items vary and if in doubt of what to get please check the Facebook page or give Joyce a ring on 01670 737808. Alternatively monetary donations can be made to St Nicholas Church (Foodbank).

As well as the Foodbank, in the same premises, there is a Uniform and Baby Equipment Bank and Exchange. If anyone needs items of school uniform they just need to call Chris Storey (07425 894319) to arrange. Likewise for baby equipment needs. Again, if you have items of uniform that your children have outgrown they will take it in to pass on.
